Driving Directions

  • (George Washington) Bridge to New Jersey Palisades Parkway to New York State Thruway North; proceed on Thruway to Harriman, Exit 16; follow Route 17 West to Exit 113; then take Route 209 North twelve miles. After twelve miles, turn slightly right onto Country Club Road. Then turn right onto Arrowhead Road.

  • Take the NYS Thruway South to Exit 19, Kingston. Follow Route 209 South (approximately 27 miles). Turn left onto Arrowhead Road. Bear left and enter through the front gate.

  • Take Interstate 84 to Port Jervis, Route 209 North. After twelve miles, turn slightly right onto Arrowhead Road. Bear left and enter through the front gate.

Public Transportation

  • Short Line (Coach USA) offers daily scheduled service from New York City, Long Island, The Catskills, Binghamton, Ithaca, Elmira, Utica and more! Individuals departing from NYC can board at Port Authority (42nd Street and 8th Street). It is recommended that you arrive at the Port Authority (second floor North Building) not less than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

    Current bus fares (New York City to Ellenville, NY): $30/one way; $60/round trip

    COVID UPDATE

  • Individuals residing in Northern New Jersey can reach us via the Metro-North Railroad to the Otisville Station (estimated fare $17.75*/one way).

  • Take Interstate 84 to Port Jervis, Route 209 North. After twelve miles, turn slightly right onto Arrowhead Road. Bear left and enter through the front gate.

  • Individuals flying into Newark Liberty International Airport can reach the retreat via a train/bus combination.

    Individuals departing the airport should travel to the NJ Transit Newark Airport Train Station via the Newark Liberty International Airport Air Train. Once at the Newark Airport Rail Station, you should board the train traveling toward New York Penn Station. This train will stop in Secaucus, NJ, where you’ll have to catch a connecting train to Port Jervis, NY. Once in Port Jervis, you’ll then need to take a connecting train to Otisville, NY (estimated fare $26.25/one way).
